About

Midlothian Code is a local Virginia nonprofit organization that reaches out to those learning a programming language or seeking mentoring and networking. Coders of all skill levels are welcome, and we encourage all who can to share their existing knowledge.

Midlothian Code emphasizes free, accessible solutions, such as the online learning paths Free Code Camp and The Odin Project, among others, and we seek to make more guided options available for those who seek them.

Participation is free, and includes those with a casual interest in code to those with a deep passion for it. We currently provide social coding events such as Coffee and Code meetings and Open Code sessions, with Workshops beginning soon.
